(effective November 5, 2022) Due to a variety of reasons, we regret to inform everyone reading this statement that the 4WOMEN Triathlon will NOT be taking place in 2023. We are still exploring other options for venues, dates, etc. for the future, but the event is indefinitely on hold for the time being. While we received lots of positive reviews/feedback and did significantly increase our numbers from year 1 to year 2, the numbers we had register still put us in a position of operating at a loss. Secondly, the additional event placed an increased workload on our planning team, volunteers, and even our hosting communities (Hopkins/Minnetonka.) Lastly, due to the number of other August triathlons, including other women specific events, we felt there was an overload of similar events in a short timeframe. For anyone that had contacted us this past summer and was granted a deferral, we will gladly issue you a promo code for you (or someone you to give the code) to use for the 2023 Hopkins Royal Triathlon.
